H&M Menswear Autumn/Winter 2013

A/W collections always risk falling into dull and dreary territory - especially when it comes to menswear. Perhaps it is because men aren’t so willing to take on colourful knitwear - who knows?

In terms of colour palettes, the H&M A/W13 collection does slightly fall into the yawn category. Fawn greens, charcoal grey and black reign supreme.

However, the collection does have several highly redeeming features.

Designers at H&M have played with length and volume in quite a delightful way. The collection boasts a great dropped-hem grey shirt and a fun, oversized wool parka.

What is more, the sharp tailoring is impressive for a more wallet-friendly brand. If you want to look straight up sharp this Winter, you could do a lot worse than shelling out for an H&M blazer.
