Hear This: AFRICANISM PRESENTS MANI LAPUSSH & BOB SINCLAR – “TURN ME ON”

Turn Me On’ reflects Bob Sinclar’s passion for African music and melodies, and by teaming up with talented, up-and-coming Lagos vocalist Mani Lapussh, gives an amazing vibe full of rhythm, beats and energetic inspirations. The single is a renaissance of Africanism, the musical collective launched by Bob Sinclar in 2001 that united the most prestigious artists from the electronic scene, including Martin Solveig with his triumph ‘Heartbeat’, DJ Gregory with ‘Tourment D’Amour’ and Masters At Work.

On the remix, Genairo ‘King Of Drums’ Nvilla’s stays faithful to the essence of the original cut. His tribal-house interpretation is a stunning fusion of baselines created by drums and rhythmic instrumentals, taking what makes the original so good – the production and vocals – and using the powerful percussive beats he’s become increasingly renowned for to take his edit to a whole new level.
